the problem:
I want to educate people on Lyme disease. I want to help people that have it and raise awareness of how debilitating this disease can really be. Many people do not believe in Lyme disease but millions are affected by it. I would like more people to be educated and to give back to people who have it.

This is important to me because I've had Chronic Lyme disease. It has been a tough battle and i have watched loved ones and friends suffer from it. Many people including doctors do not think this disease exists, so many people go untreated or misdiagnosed. Fighting Lyme disease is a long and tough battle and it would mean alot to me to be able to educate people on this disease and to help people who have it, to give them hope. This disease is very controversial with insurance companies and the government. I want to spread hope and awareness so more people can be aware of how difficult this disease can be.
the plan of action:
I would like to raise money for the Lyme Disease Association and to people who are suffering with this disease. I plan on making bracelets and shirts that say "Time is TICKing for the cure". There is no definite known cure for this disease. I will include websites to educate people about it and to give support to Lyme disease victims.

Others can help by reading and learning about Lyme disease. They can donate money or items to the Lyme Disease Association.
