In the US about 40% of impoverished families are run by single mothers.Most single mothers hardly have enough money and supplies to take care of themselves, let alone their children. 2,600 children are born into poverty daily and aproximately 27 die from it. I don't feel as if innocent souls should be passing away just because their mothers can't afford to take care of them and that is why I'm organizing the Binkys for Babies project.

Binkys for Babies will not only deliver materials to single mothers in need, but it will also give the children of these women a chance. Binkys for Babies will help support the single mothers in need and let them know that they are not alone. I constantly see children who go without, and I couldn't do anything about it until now. My organization will allow me to help out the less fortunate and give to those who have never received.

My plan is to organize food,clothing,and toy drives so that the materials collected can be given to single mothers who are either pregnant or single mothers who have children under the age of six. If this organization is successful in my community I will then go on to recruit people to help me deliver food, clothes, and toys to single mothers city-wide, state-wide, and ultimately world-wide.

Others can help by participating in the drives I organize and/or by donating money so that I can buy food, clothes, and toys for the babies in need.
