The Problem

Our schools are not adequately engaging young people. Four out of five of the top reasons why students drop out of school are related to school curriculum not reaching the personal interests of the students. Young people need to see a connection between what they learn in school and future success in life. Relevancy is critical. M.A.D.E. MOGULS offers an effective means to address these challenges of engaging students, building stronger support networks, and nurturing a more rigorous academic environment in our schools.

Plan of Action

The Made Moguls program will place students in a group with their peers, 2 team leaders and a mentor for 5 month, during that time the students will work though our 6 module curriculum on entrepreneurship and basic financial literacy, while doing a number of hands on activities and exercises. Over time, Made Moguls will create a learning environment and mentor network that will be an invaluable resource to young people, aspiring mentors and the community at large.
