Make a wish

the problem:
We are trying to appeal to the nursing homes in our area in order to make their wishes become a reality. We are going to call the nursing home to get them to collect each senior citizen’s wish. Once we receive their wishes we will try to make each dream a reality.

If you want your project to keep going, you should really think about joining Youth Venture. It's really similiar to Do Something. They provide grant opputunities and try to help you and your project be successful. It's really cool! Visit www.genv.net . It's a lot like a facebook for people who want to change the world. Everyone's really nice cause they know you're all working to make the world a better place. If you join let me know, we should try and work together on it.
Also, I'm serious about helping you out. I'll help with anything. Your Make a Wish Project seems really important and as I said, helping teens feel more self confident is a major issue. If there's anything I can help you with (I know it's kind of tough with only talking over cyber space) let me know. Even if you can't think of anything, I hope to hear from you soon. I would love to hear some addvice from you!!!! I wount to do this project but i just dont know how to get started. Imean me and my best friend are doing this. By the Way i think this will be good the to of us working togeather cause go to different school and a differnt state. I live in ALABAMA!!!! Well cant wait to hear from you agin.

Sorry, I haven't been able to contact you. I keep trying to leave messages on your wall but there is something wrong with my computer. w/e. I think your idea could go on for a long time. You could ask the nursing home for the elderly people's birthdays. Maybe you'd rather ask the nursing home to notify you when someone is really sick or going into surgery or something. I'm in Southern Illinois. Did you apply for any grants? Maybe you could also ask stores in your area (they may have to be like privaely owned stores like some little jewelry store or ice cream shop) if you can put up a poster and collect change. Does your school have like a dress code or anything like that? Our school always sells out of dress code days for a dollar and we make tons of money. idk. Just throwing stuff out there. TTYL!

cool! i commented on your wall. i have a different name on genv, networkmc12. so don't think that's just some random person talking to you. i am working on 2 main projects right now.
1 is yummies for sensitive tummies. basically, i've got all these problems w/ my stomach and diet is a key factor. however, no one reale told me abt the diet when i first got sick so i suffered a log of pain. basically, my sisters and i, compiled all the stuff we learned since i was diagnosed 6yrs ago into a cookbook. we want to get the cookbook out to as many people. we've sent out like 30 cookbook to hospitles and stuff (we just printed them in november) but we have sent out over 700 laminated samplers (they're sheets of paper with recipes on them) throughout the country and someone brought them to s. africa. people were allowed to copy the samplers so a lot more people than that have been helped. i started a website in january and we usually get over 1,000 monthly views which is pretty good.
my other project is NETwork against malaria (hense my reale weird genv name). we raise money to fund malaria nets in uganda. we're preparing for a couple of big fundraisers right now.
i can't have a myspace, but i'm working on getting a facebook. (my parents are reale over-protective.) so tell me more abt you.
Well i am about to be 18 in feb. i love to play softball and go to church and also i am an artist. But how much are your cook book cause i would love to give some to the hospitals around here. But if you ever need my help with one of your prject just ask. Couse i think we can spread the messages that we are trying to do wi th us living so far aport and stuff.Guess what i just got my club aproved by the princepl so now it is an in school and an out side of school club!!!!! Will i cant type much longer cause my hand is in a prace so TTYL!!!!

I'll talk to my group about the cookbooks. I'll try to talk to them about discounting it or even sending it to you free of charge. We're trying to get them out to as many hospitles as possible. combining SAAD with ur's is a great idea! we don't have a SAAD club at our school we have a CAAD (crusade against achool and drugs, original huh?) club. i haven't had a chance to pin everyone down, we're all cramming for finals. how abt you?

I had a great CHRISTMAS i hope you did as well!!!! I did really good on my teast but i could have done a little bit better on my math exam!!!! Well it is around 2:27 in the morning so i have to get some sleep this is mylast day of freadom i go back to school on the 9th so TTYL!!!!
