The Problem

I am raising money to help The Make-A-Wish Foundation grant the wishes of children with life threatening illnesses.

Plan of Action

My 4th annual Summer Book Sale for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® was extra special in 2010 because the proceeds ($4500) were used to fully fund the wish of my friend’s sister. The Summer Book Sale began in the summer of 2007 when I decided to do something special with my summers by raising money for children going through challenging health issues. I selected the Make-A-Wish Foundation as the perfect organization to work with, and a decided that a book sale would be the ideal event for a summer fundraiser. Since 2007, I have raised over $17,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, donated many thousands of books to several other charities and have been a role model by encouraging the spirit of giving back to my siblings, peers and community. This year's booksale will also be to help a local child.

2011 KIDS FOR WISH KIDS BOOK SALE!
ALL PROFITS WILL BENEFIT AND ASSIST THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION® OF GREATER PENNSYLVANIA, POTTSVILLE REGIONAL OFFICE, IN GRANTING THE WISH OF ABIGAIL, AGE 4, FROM BETHLEHEM. Abigail has leukemia and has wished to go to Disney World.

Over the last 4 years we have raised over $12,000 for Make-A-Wish! Come to our 5th summer sale…

DATES: June 23 (5-8p), June 24 & 25 (9am-2pm)

LOCATION: 143 1st Street (Farmview Estates), Nazareth, PA.

Please help by donating books [used, new, children, or adult – NO encyclopedia sets, text books or condensed version books please] and coming to shop. Drop all book donations at the above address. If not home, please leave on front porch.

Directions- Located between Nazareth High School and Nazareth Intermediate School. Turn up Farmview Rd from Tatamy Rd and take first left onto 1st Street.
