Making a better life at the animal shelter

The Project we are trying to help is the animals who you don't see at animal shelters because they are recovering from sickness or other problums. But some of these animals are not just sick they are inflicted with injurys that can be fatal not always fisacal but mental. Inflicted apon them, such as a deathly fear of humans,dogs and cats , not being able to relax at all because of noises even as small as other animals eating. These animals are the ones that my heart goes out to the most. I volunteer at the Augusta animal shelter,I help with the cats in the back room that arn't up for adoption yet. It makes my heart hurt to see animals in these conditions.
