Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

This project will be my latest service to the community I will be partaking in. Recently, my mother's friend has been diagnosed with cancer and though I do not have a lot to donate to the foundation, I hope to support it through my active participation in the project. However, it is not the only project I have been involved in. I currently attend school at New York University, and through the community I have been continuously been involved in other projects. I will be partaking in New York Cares Day as well on the 20th of this month. Because I really care about making an improvement on the community I have always tried to do something that will positively affect it. I realize I am one person, and I cannot make a difference by myself, but my little efforts I believe will help in some small way. I believe it is better to do something than nothing.
