The Problem

The problem that we are trying to solve is helping to make a way for Haitians in Haiti as well as Haitians in the United States that have suffered as a result of the earthquake in Haiti. We have been gathering food, clothing, shoes, and items for people who suffered due to the earthquake.

Plan of Action

The first step we took was to organize a meeting. At this meeting we all gathered and spoke that there is a growing need to help Haiti not only through funds and materials, but also through prayer. We have also gathered to have a Benefit Relief Concert for Haiti to raise monetary funds and gather items such as canned goods, clothing, and shoes for people in Haiti. We have met several times to speak about the situation and our ways to help Haiti. We have all gathered together to fix up the items that we have received from all the donators. The impact that we have made is gathering all the donations and helping people who have suffered through emotional support as well as monetary support. We have been able to send monetary funds to 100 people in Haiti and are currently working on sending the goods, clothing, and shoes to Haiti.
