The Problem

The problem we are solving is the war between black (male) youth and the world in which they live. Living in communities in Chicago, IL, where poverty is griping their families, violence is taking their children, and a lack of education & dropping graduation rates is changing their future.

Plan of Action

It is my plan to take this ongoing project to the next phase. Currently all of the Man Child groups meet in community schools around the city.We will stiil meet weekly with the young men.In addition our Plan is to recruit city wide and bring all Black (male) youth, their families, and the original Man Child members together to kick off our new mission in a special opening ceremony. During the event we hope to recruit new volunteers and Man Child members.
