The Problem

I am helping all communities across the country by volunteering and raising money for the March of Dimes. I am trying to solve the problem of birth defects, prematurity, and infant mortality for good. I am trying to give every baby a healthy start and help them all get the very important 9 months that they need.

Plan of Action

I met with the owners of the various franchises of my work Sylvan Learning Centers in Rhode Island to get them to believe in what I was doing. I then did all the leg work of recruiting five or more employees or walkers from each of the offices throughout the state, ordering T-Shirts, and collecting donations. Our 40 walkers that were recruited raised over $1,800 in just over a one month time period.
