Marvelous Connections Tour
Check out our videos!
the problem:
There are a reported 58,000 new cases of HIV each year and at least half of all new infections are among people under the age of 25. The Marvelous Connection Tour (MCT) would be a two-month United States tour to visit 20 of HIV and AIDS hardest hit Colleges and Universities. The tour would spread the importance of HIV testing and HIV education while reducing stigma and dispelling the myths of HIV.

5why it's important:
The overall goal of the Marvelous Connection Tour is to get 7,500 students informed and/or educated about HIV and AIDS, to get 5,000 students tested for HIV and most importantly reduce the extremely high HIV statistics that are affecting my peers. My ultimate goal is to get 1 million and 1 young people tested.
So often I receive emails from students in a high risk area of HIV and AIDS that want me to come and spread my personal message of contracting HIV at 19, that craved HIV and AIDS information but they do not have the funding or the support of the community which usually lead nowhere but the start of the idea for the Marvelous Connection Tour.
the plan of action:
To make the Marvelous Connection tour effective and to reach our goal we would utilize the local media, form a relationship with each campus and connect with local AIDS Service Organizations and Community Based Organizations for support and maybe even partnership.
how you can get involved:
In the meantime others can help by getting tested for HIV, educating themselves and being responsible by making healthier and wiser decisions.
