The Problem

I'm trying to stop domestic violence because it is a major issue in the world. Domestic violence is ignored and it shouldn't be. This is one of the leading causes of death and there is not much action that is taken against it. Many people don't understand the seriousness of what can happen when you are in a domestic violence relationship. People are controlled and it can often lead to death.

Plan of Action

My plan of actions is to spread the word. At my school I hang posters around about domestic violence. I also participate in the local family violence shelter. Throughout my community I do domestic violence speeches for the local people and also to my school. In this speech I tell my story, the consequences of domestic violence, and I also have a video with pictures. Not only do I do this around my community but I also go to other States and do the same thing. I have inspired people to speek out against domestic violence and to open up if it is happening in their own home.
