The Problem

The two middle schools close to our area barely have any social functions. Recently, because the high schools were split up, a rivalry has started. So, to help future generations, and make a more fun rivalry environment, instead of hostile, we are bringing together the middle schoolers.

Plan of Action

With 1 volunteer for every # students, a highlighter dance will take place in some local building. A highlighter dance is where it is dark, but with all the bright lights it will make it so it is easy to see all the events taking place during the dance. The 6th and 7th graders will have theirs a around 6ish, and then the area will be cleaned up, and set up for the 8th graders. The dances are separate because the 8th graders are the older ones, and will be the high schoolers of the following year. We went around to the Middle Schools and the students seemed very excited, and the principals agreed to it because of the unity.
