The Problem

Mississippi Hippie was founded on a simple mission; To provide a better living environment for children living at Bright Kids Uganda. By being able to establish long term community- based homes for orphaned, abandoned and neglected children. To be able to provide an education and job training for these children. One day to provide medical doctors as well as psychologists available who can help the children overcome the various emotional challenges they face. For every item purchased, MS HIPPIE gives the proceeds to the Orphanage. I am Trying to take advantage of the common thread today among individuals that want to help. Bright Kids "One child at a time", Together WE can make a DIFFERENCE!

Plan of Action

Right now I am making 2 products that are being sold to benefit the Orphanage. I really am hoping to get back to Africa and stay at the Orphanage for some time and really get a feel of another way to help raise them money. I would love to take art supplies to the children and sell their work back in the U.S. I am trying to make a connection between my home state, Mississippi, and Africa so that people feel like we are ALL ONE.
