MissYourVoice is starting off the New Year with a bang!! Something so fun!
We are initiating the first Send a Smile drive of 2011! But this time we are doing something a little different!
All I am asking is for you to take 5 minutes out of your day to say a BIG THANK YOU to our troops overseas!
Here at MissYourVoice, we are all about showing the LOVE! And this Valentines Day, lets show our love to AS MANY of our service members as we can!!
We all remember what a Candy Gram is right???? Back in the Good Ole Days in middle school :)!!
For those of you who arent familiar, a Candy Gram is a cute card with a piece of Candy attached to the card that someone be requested be sent to you :)
MissYourVoice is now starting that same type of program! I am asking that you sit down and make a HANDMADE card saying "Thank You" to a service member!
Get your friends involved!
Get your Family Involved!
Sit down with your children and let them have some fun with it!!
Get your child's class involved!!
You can send them straight to your service member, or you can send them to me!!
The cards that are sent to me, I will place a Heart Lollipop in, and I will send them out at the end of January to our deployed service members ALL OVER THE WORLD!!
Heres the catch!! I WANT TO SEE PICTURES!! And I want to be able to see your LOVE in the pictures! I will be posting pictures of me, my friends and my family with our Thank you cards through out the month!
Heres why! I will send out the link to the photo album in each card that I send! So the service member who receives it can come look at all of the SMILING faces of the people who support them! Which is guaranteed to put a SMILE on their face!!
Pretty neat right???
Lets make this huge guys!! With as many Military families, spouses, girlfriends, boyfriends, and supporters we have here on facebook, we should be able to get SOOOO Many Candy Grams sent! :) and even though they are just a little piece of mail, they mean so much!! I can remember back when I got them delivered to me in middle school, they made me feel so important! :)
The most important thing is this, HAVE FUN! :) The more fun you have with it, the more the love will shine through!
