A lot of teens get into trouble when they have nothing to do. Parents often don't let their children out because of the bad influences they might be under. This is why Brooke and I came up with the idea to start a program that would keep teens and younger kids out of trouble by bringing them together through music. Not only that, but we have a side project called Feel the Beat in which we want those with hearing disabilities to be able to experience music the way we do. We are looking to find the right group of people to help us invent a glove-like object to go along with their hearing aids that deaf people can wear to feel the beat of the music come through their body. We feel as though it is not fair for a disability such as a loss of hearing to destroy ones ability to experience music. So our two goals are to continue bringing teens together twice a month to listen to great music and in between sets, learn how they can make the world a better place.
