The Problem

Mweruka Junior School has lost funding and its ability to provide HIV medication and basic supplies to the orphaned children and their guardians. We hope we can provide them with the tools and knowledge neccessary to create a self-sustaining community.

Plan of Action

uniteourworld.org has been supporting Mweruka Junior School and HIV orphanage in Masaka, Africa for over a year. We are heading over now to drill wells, repair housing and facilities, build chicken coops and gardens, teach art and music classes, educate about proper hygene, irrigate five acres of land to grow food and cash crops to help them become self-sustaining. So far we have provided HIV medication which has kept numerous children alive and thriving. We have also been able to supply all funding for the school including teacher's salaries and school supplies.
