The Problem

During our National Day of Reading on Sat. November 21, 2009 between 10-6p.m., we are encouraging individuals in all 50 states to do something to promote reading. It can be a book discussion, a networking event with area author, or an opportunity for you to discuss the impact a certain book had on your life. We are hoping to bring attention to the national problem that exists with illiteracy.

Plan of Action

Use the internet and other grassroots means to make sure that everyone realizes the importance of reading. No matter how many problems we face, conquering illiteracy is a job all of us must undertake.
