The Problem

When LGBT youth know they are disapproved of they have no place to go, they are alone and frightened. Instead of trying to get adults to advocate for them, we are trying to create a community that helps them support themselves and each other. Were trying to help them advocate for themselves.

Plan of Action

To organize and build our community. Once it's built we plan to hold seminars, organize are own protests and events and deploy volunteers to go and help others in their communities.

Project Updates

National Gay Youth Association has become a community that connects LGBT youth together. We are no longer a formal organization, but a network of LGBT teens from all over the country. We connect people to other people by means of social networking and other forms of communication (even gasp...letters).
