Plan of Action

National Marriage Boycott is a youth-led grassroots movement for gay equality. We're determined to usher in a national culture of acceptance by pledging not to marry until there is full federal marriage equality. Members wear an Equality Ring as a public symbol of this pledge and organize against anti-gay legislation.

Project Updates

National Marriage Boycott has exciting news!

Effective September 1st, Sarah Masimore and Kenzie Seal are stepping up as Co-Executive Directors. Sarah is currently Branch Manager and Kenzie is currently Chief Financial Officer, so both of them bring a wide variety of skills to the organization. They are truly a dynamic team, and NMB is lucky to have them as future co-leaders!

This leadership transition is exciting because NMB will continue to be student-led. Current Executive Director Laura Wadden recently graduated from Stanford University and upon graduation, received the R. Scott Hitt Internship in Leadership Development. She will be starting her internship this fall with GSA Network, an organization that empowers high school youth to fight homophobia and transphobia in schools.
