National School Lights Out Day

To raise awareness about school-wide energy consumption and to show the amount of energy and the costs that can be saved through such a quick and easy act as turning off the lights. To educate students about the sources our energy comes from and to encourage them to use less. To change daily habits and perspectives. To unite schools, the institutions of our future generation, on this day to work together in collaboration in this movement. To send a powerful message to the world about our collective ability to take a stand on climate change.
