The Problem

My project is to allow students the opportunity to fine tune their gift for art and meet other kids who also share their passion for it as well. My school unfortunately does not have the funds to support an art club which is why I am requesting the funds to start this club. Fine arts is an essential aspect to any child's education, and every student should have the chance to be exposed to it.

Plan of Action

1. If I am able to gain this grant, I will first begin by budgeting the cash. Where will it go? It will first go to the needed supplies fund. -sketchbooks -pastels -brushes -etc... 2. Another member has offered to start the art club off with some supplies provided by her mother. 3. The art club will meet every two weeks to begin or continue projects already in progress. 4.I've also been really considering asking the MOCA museum if it would be able to send a representative or local artists to my school attend an art club meeting. 5.Lastly I just want to create a club where the art club participants can have fun.
