(From our web site) Mission Statement: To provide goods and services to Idaho's needy regardless of gender, age, religious background, handicap, ethnic background or income. Why we started: We recognize that people with need, temporary or otherwise, may not meet eligibility requirements for local, state or federal assistance. We aim to fill that gap. The majority of the members in our organization are ordinary people who have been in unforseen circumstances who have a complete understanding of what it means to need help. Sometimes we received help, sometimes we didn't. Our goal is to raise awareness that the maximum poverty level recognized by authorities is too low, and to ensure that the important American citizens basic needs are being met. Are You Eligible? We only have one answer. Yes. We have no questions for you. Regarless if you are receiving assistance from other places or not, or your income, you are still eligible to receive goods from us. Goods purchased from the Idaho Foodbank are the exception. They have a set of guidlines that need to be met. However, we have food donations from other resources that you will be eligible for.
