New Borns in Need
the problem:
There is a child born every minute, and majority of those children leave hospitals without a blanket to keep them warm. Once winter hits, these children are seen in the hospital again due to illness caught from the cold. I have been collecting baby blankets for the organization called New Borns in Need. They then take these blankets and deliver them to hospitals that do not have the money needed to purchase a large amount of blankets. I want to bring awarness to this, and to also save babies from undergoing a tramatic experience.

I always had a blanket to keep me warm, and it is wrong for children to not have one. Blankets could easily save a child from developing the flu or another fatal illness. It shouldn't be an issue, but it is. It is important because it is a life, and no one's life is more important than anothers.
the plan of action:
My plan has already been in progress. I made signs and posted them up around my church letting people know of my project and asking for donations. My church was able to rally together and I now have over 100 baby blankets to donate. I will deliver these blankets to a local chapter of New Borns in Need.
how you can get involved:
Others can help by donating blankets or even just fabric. They can also help by spreading awarness. The more people that know what is going on, the better chances there are of fixing it.
