Plan of Action

New England Sarau (NES) is a volunteer staffing based non-profit group that is divided into four main committees: Administrative Committee; Sarau Committee (fellowship events); Families & Churches Support Committee; and Outdoors Activities & Education Committee. The overall mission of NES is to provide resources to Christians (individuals, families and churches) through organized or collaborative efforts to help build a unified large community of Good Samaritans and positive community members. The Administrative Committee has the responsibility and goal to support the growth and organization of NES. It has a team of 7 staff/volunteer with an initial capacity of 9 staff/volunteers. The Sarau Committee organizes events to help improve the fellowship of Christians across New England. It has a team of 11 staff/volunteer with an initial capacity of 24 staff/volunteers. The Families & Churches Support Committee provides some basic assistance to families and churches (i.e. referrals; resources; gifts to families in need; etc). It has a team 4 staff/volunteer with an initial capacity of 30 staff/volunteer. The Outdoors Activities & Education Committee organizes educational outdoors activities to build skills as leadership, teamwork, environmental care, etc. It has a team of 4 staff/volunteer with an initial capacity of 26 staff/volunteer. All the committees and services provided are in constant review for improvement, implementation and new projects.
