The Problem

We, as the InterAct club at La Joya Community High School, are trying to help teenagers that are victims of domestic abuse or are part of a family that has been affected by domestic abuse and therefore forced to leave their home and find shelter at the New Life Center of Arizona.

Plan of Action

We plan to do so by enlisting the help of local businesses and our Chamber of Commerce as well as our local Rotary group to raise enough money through donations from the community to help out the teenagers are the New Life Center. We as a club have already gained the support of 10 local businesses that will operate as drop points for the collection drive and we are gaining more support by the day. The drive itself will begin April 1st, 2010 and it will last the entire month of April.
