The Problem

This is a non-profit organization that is in development. It is NOT a certified non profit organization yet so we CANNOT accept donations. However, once the foundation is certified, we will seek to use donations to help pay for medical expenses of children who have an unknown, undiagnosed illness in the state of Connecticut. Many families who have children like this cannot pay for medical expenses. These expenses are high and cause a financial burden on the family. As of right now, we are conducting research on these families, and are acting as a support system through our forum.

Plan of Action

Right now, the Nicole Rose Foundation is searching for medical professionals, certified public accountants and lawyers who are willing to serve on the foundation's Board of Directors. Once I establish a board of directors, the foundation would like to present itself organization to the state and begin the paperwork to become a certified non profit organization. Once the foundation is granted certification and can accept donations, we would like to begin fundraising to help struggling families. Also, the foundation is trying to build a database of families in CT that are facing these challenges. On the foundation's website there is a section where a family can fill out a form to share their child's story and the family's financial struggle.
