Huntington's Disease is a deadly disease that affects the lives of many.

My name is Kristen Powers and my mom has Huntington's Disease. My mom was diagnosed with this disease four years ago and she now lives in a nursing home, no longer able to talk. Basically, HD is a terminal, genetic brain disorder that affects the victim's ability to walk, talk, think and reason. go to www.hdsa.org for more information.

I have been raising money for HD research and I am working on a fundraiser dinner in my town. I have created a webpage for online donations and hopefully the benefit dinner will be held in early 2008.
