Nikki's Way is striving to find a cure for Huntington's Disease!
My name is Kristen Powers and my mother has Huntington's Disease, HD, a genetic brain disorder that affects the victim's ability to walk, talk, think or reason. Victims of this disease usually pass away and the disease has a 50% chance of spreading to the victim's children (genetically).
Nikki's Way is my program that is raising money to fund research for a cure. I have raised $1000 so far and I am still working out. I am also in the process of creating a charity dinner in my area.
