The Problem
I believe in making a difference. In my University, Northeastern State, I noticed that within the language students, there were no clubs, no communities, and no sense of unity. It was just a bunch of students with no support system, trying to learn foreign languages on their own. That's when I decided to make a Spanish Club.
Plan of Action
We are currently holding study nights, movie nights, fundraisers, participating in community service projects, and we are not even close to getting started! My officers and I now plan to help organize and create a World Language Club in the hopes of helping more students become more connected and making the transition from knowing only one's native language to being a bilingual individual easier.
