The Problem

In the rural areas of poor Bangladesh, people who have injuries are simply considered worthless because they cannot help provide for their family. Many of these injuries are minor such a broken bone. These bones never heal because they can't afford treatment, and they become trapped by their families, some are even kicked out. Nurture is basically a non-profit hospital which gives these people an opportunity to heal.

Plan of Action

A couple of years ago Mr. Hans Casper Holst had the building Nurture is now held in built. We are extremely grateful to him as it gives us a place to hold surgeries and patients. This year a Rotaplast team came to Nurture and performed about 104 surgeries. Seeing as Nurture is entirely nonprofit, we need the help of these people in order to help others. We also need your help. There's so much more to be done. For instance, we still need an anesthesia machine. We may be able to have a retired dentist come and sit twice a week if we can get a room set up for him. All of this requires donations and money.
