The Problem

Forest being cut down and endangered animals are dying because of that too. Therefore we are saving our middle part of the 150 acres big land we live on. Now we have seen Jaguars, Toucans and parrots, which people haven't seen around that area since the forest was cut for cows and corn. We don't use any pesticides with our farming. 1 out of 4 children die from malnutrition in villages in Guatemala. The people in the villages around our area are also so poor that they don't have money for medicine or even food most of the time. So we are distributing deworming pills for all the people around there and also getting children to play music. We help westerners experience the simple and rewarding life in the jungle. We are also starting a retreat center in our farm with other people with meditation, living in the nature, yoga and other alternative therapies like Shiatsu massage and teaching Reiki.

Plan of Action

Learn to be self sufficient on the land and raise money for medicine and buying land.
