Relay For Life events are life-changing cancer fundraising events that help communities across the globe fight back against cancer. We are trying to help find a cure for something that has affected so many people worldwide.
In 2002, Matt Parvin, a brother of Pi Kappa Alpha walked into the American Cancer Society office in NYC and said, "I have cancer. I want to start at Relay For Life at NYU." Since then, Relay For Life has been an integral part of the NYU community.
To date we have raised over $1.3 million in the fight against cancer. We welcome and encourage active participation from students, faculty, staff, and alumni in this incredible experience that brings together people from all parts of the NYU community.
Thank you for helping to make Relay For Life the largest student fundraiser on-campus! We, as Relay For Life at NYU, are committed to supporting Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society until we create a world without cancer.
