the problem:
Im trying to ease the burden of grocery bills on homes in poverty and bring a better standard of nutrition to these homes.

4why it's important:
I have grown up in poverty and as the oldest child of eight children so i know how hard it is for families to stay fed properly.
the plan of action:
I have started a community garden on my street where there was once a party store. I alerted all of the neighbors in our area to buy seeds of fruits and vegetables that they enjoy and to come work in the garden. So far this past summer i showed the families the great amount of yeild produced from cheep seeds and a little hard work. Next year i plan on making the garden larger and showing people how to can goods so that they can save the produce well past growing season.
how you can get involved:
People can donate, money, plants, and most valuble of all their hard work. This project would work best if others went and started creating gardens of their own to help spred the wealth.
