The Problem

The goal of OHS Imagine is to promote the creation of student work and provide a method for students to share that work with fellow students, teachers, and community members. We are promoting the arts in our school system and we aim to share the arts and literature with the world through our website and annual magazine. With the stress and pressure in a modern-day public school, promotion of the arts is slowly diminishing. OHS Imagine working to reverse this.

Plan of Action

Our endeavor began in 2007 when two graduates of our high school founded OHS Imagine, seeking to promote the creation of Arts and literature within the school system. The first issue was funded through a munificent grant by the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation. Since 2007, our organization has sought the help of other organizations to fund our magazine. Recently, we developed a website to share our content. With this website, we have been able to expand the scope of our readers. With a website, we have been able to reach further than our local community, we have the potential to impact the world. Perhaps students in other schools might like to start their own Arts Magazine to acknowledge talented students and share the Arts.
