the problem:
injustice against native people. loss of indigenous cultures, lifeways, languages, songs, traditions. loss of interconnectedness with all things. bad health, disease, abuse, neglect, all learned habits from colonizers upon native peoples. historical trauma begining with columbus' 'landing' in 1492 still continuing today.

the stories of our elders, instill this need for change, and truth in order that they can begin their internal healing. then begin afterward to flourish once again, with strength and courage, pride and confidence in todays world. without practicing and preserving our ways, they begin to disappear.
the plan of action:
to strengthen indigenous communities with new vision in an old way, while setting the stage for culture bearers to unite.
