The Problem

The majorities of the youth in the Greater Boston area are either of the economic middle class or impoverished and of the economic lower class. Socially, youth in this greater community are typically malnourished and are lacking the resources to have successful relationships with future employers and other community members. Instead of receiving positive empowerment and encouragement, like our team wishes to impart in them, most of the youth are openly deceived by a lie that our society is feeding them: they believe that they can find complete fulfillment and identity through worldly means such as media entertainment, money, clothes, abuse, inappropriate relationships, drugs, and more.

Plan of Action

The Quest's venue has already been booked and most of the details of this event have been planned out. The event is scheduled to take place at the Cambridge YMCA in Massachusetts on August 28, 2010. During this current month of June and the next two following months, our team is working on promotion through different forms of media & paper, getting the word out to local community members, securing sponsorships, finalizing vendor donations, and working out the technical aspects of the show.
