One More Day
the problem:
I help out at a nursing home that was mainly for people suffering from dementia so I created diff. activity boards for the residents to play with, this not only gave them something to do but it made them think and use their brains which prolongs the rate at which the dementia has on thier brain causing them to possibly live longer and help them stay in their right mind longer.

This is important to me because I have lost very close people to me because they suffered and die from the disease and I would not wish for anybody to have to suffer like that or hurt and cry because of loosing a mom,dad,sister or anybody close to their heart. After I lost my grandmother last year I decided that I was goin to help anybody that I could because I know how it feels to loose someone you love,I know what I did is not going to take away the sickness from people are take the pain away from families going though this btu I know that it helped and could have extended someones life if only for a hour I did something helpful and that warms my heart.
the plan of action:
1.) I talked to the director of avtivites and told her about my idea.
2.)I begain making the activity boards with friends and family
3.)Put up the activity boards
how you can get involved:
Others can help by calling local nursing homes or any place that is a hom efor people suffering demtia and doing diff. activites with the residents and if they are not helful just go and talk to someone to make them feel loved and cared for.
