The Problem

World Poverty, it affects approximately 2 billion people in the world, and many are unaware of this issue. Through the ONE campaign, I hope to bring awareness to my college campus to let other students know about this crisis and encourage them to take some sort of action towards aiding this cause.

Plan of Action

I have become the CAMPUS LEADER in UC Santa Barbara within the CAMPUS CHALLENGE with ONE. I will be in charge of planning actions with other ONE members and we will host tabling events, DORM STORMS, provide presentations on the issue and possibly show demonstrations about poverty.I have made sure to recruit members who are dedicated to this issue and who will be 100% committed in helping me spread the awareness about World poverty. I want to hopefully start a non-profit organization who will raise money to bring aid to 3rd world countries in the future.
