The Problem

“Within the character of the citizen lies the welfare of the nation. “ Cicero The Open My Eyes Foundation is a non-profit foundation dedicated to encouraging character development in citizens of all ages as a way of bettering society. Bullying, greed, intolerance, wastefulness and lack of social responsibility are evidences of lack of character within our society. The objective of the Open My Eyes Foundation is to provide funding and resources to encourage initiatives that support our mission of promoting common decency, value and respect for self and others.

Plan of Action

The stated purpose of my foundation is: 1. To foster character development in all citizens by promoting common decency and respect for self and others. 2. To encourage and support programs, curriculum, incentives, and other creative initiatives devoted to this purpose. 3. To award grants/scholarships to individuals/groups who have tangible goals, methodology and implementation for projects that adhere to these goals. Since the inception of my foundation thousands of children have been taught character qualities that impact daily concern for self, others and our world. We have launched 4 grassroots projects that address global responsibility. tolerance and giving back to society.
