The Problem

There are two related problems we are trying to solve. The first is that our troops have been stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan for many years, and we want them to know that we support their efforts and want them to come home. The other problem this project addresses is childhood obesity and health. Following Halloween many children have way too much candy left over, and eating all of it would be unhealthy.

Plan of Action

We collected candy the week following Halloween and then created 150 baggies of candy to send to Iraq and Afghanistan through Operation Care and Comfort.
