The Problem

In our community the unemployment rate is on the rise and public assistant rates are rising. Many people in our community are going hungry and can barley feed their family so as an effort to help feed the hungry in our community have decided to step outside the box and not only donate food during the holidays but every month throughout the year. At the end of each month we are going to divide the food up and donate it to families in need or to the local food bank or soup kitchen.

Plan of Action

We have already started to work with local churches asking them to donate food and we are in the process of working with the schools in our community as we make this a community effort to feed those less fortunate.
