The Problem

I, along with a driven team from Open Door Ministries of Joshua, Texas, am continously reaching out to the hungry and needy families of my community, my country, and the fellow countries across the world, and give away over 1,000,000 pounds of food items and over 2,000,000 pounds of non-food items annually.

Plan of Action

I, along with the Open Door Ministries team, take part in biweekly food outreaches in Johnson County, Texas, in which we give approximately 12,000 pounds of food per outreach, at no cost to hungry families/individuals. We travel to Mexico several times a year and give tens of thousands of pounds of food, toys, school items, personal products, and other necessities. We also conduct a annual "Monster Outreach" in Johnson County, Texas, in which roughly 3,000 people attend (not including workers). These 3,000 people are each fed a hot meal and are allowed the opportunity to benefit from our free garage sale at the outreach, which has items raning from brand new clothing items to electronics. As the people leave, we fill their cars full of food items, and over 60,000 pounds of free groceries are given away to the individuals.
