The Problem

Paper or Plastic? How many times do we go the grocery store a month? Two, Three, even four? There is a pretty good chance that the clerks at the grocery store don’t give you the option on what kind of bag you want. Well the real question is what kind of bag is more environmentally friendly. Well the truth is that both bags are a bad choice on the long run. Our Project is centered on recyclable canvas bags. These types of bags DON’T end up as marine debris, in the ozone layers, or in landfills. If we reduce plastic and paper bags, we can reduce waste in general.

Plan of Action

Our project is centered on making people aware of waste, and helping them reuse, reduce, and recycle. Ya it might sound cheesy but it help our environment. Hundreds of baby sea turtles die each year because of plastic bags ending up in the sea, they mistake them for jelly fish and choke.I know everyone has used a plastic bag before, i know i have I'm doing my part, Are you?
