The Problem
The Paradigm Shift Project (PSP) is working to eradicate human trafficking and sexual slavery through engagement with communities across South and Southeast Asia, specifically in India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Cambodia.
Plan of Action
PSP aims to film three new projects every year, and their previous projects are considered finished once the film and accompanying curricula are completed, with education initiatives continuing well into the future.
Since PSP’s inception in August 2008, four documentary film projects have been completed, and a fifth film, on emergency relief and disaster management, is currently in postproduction. Their first four films have been viewed in over 100 countries by nearly 30,000 people.
PSP is currently scheduled to conduct three new projects in 2011, on the issues of sexual slavery, access to water, and urban slums.
