Party for the People

Party for the People is an event to promote and celebrate consciousness of community. This free and open-to-the-public, Brooklyn-based event is designed to build community awareness and engagement. Party for the People will include: -workshops covering various modes of community participation -speech presentations by prominent activist speakers and local community leaders -performances by socially conscious and active musicians and spoken-word artists -involvement opportunity booths by a wide range of community activist/service organizations from throughout the borough of Brooklyn
