The Problem

Paul Revere School is looking for additional funding for a School Community Garden. Educating students and parents about healthy eating, Project-Based lessons about gardens, and learning about the local environment are our main goals for the project.

Plan of Action

Our goal is to have a school community garden where both children and parents can learn about where food comes from. A school garden would give teachers a different way to teach. A school garden would give students a hands-on approach to learning beyond what a picture, word or video can convey. If children spent their time planting and caring for vegetables, they are more likely to eat them
