The Problem

Our local animal shelter, in Pike County, KY, is a small shelter with many needs. Millard UNITE Club decided to do a "Paws and Claws Against Drugs" drive for the shelter. Our club, which main focus is anti-drug use and service projects, collected 273 items, which was Dawn dish detergent, towels, and treats for the animals.

Plan of Action

We made it a competition between homerooms in our 3-8 school. We offered a pizza party for the winning homeroom. We also held the drive during Red Ribbon Week, so we could promote our drug free message.
