The Problem

PAWS FOR THE CAUSE is a service project started in 2002 to help homeless/stray animals in the community. Aspects of the project are adoptions, spaying/neutering, being responsible pet owners, reporting abuse & getting lost/found animals home and less euthanizations.

Plan of Action

To date, PAWS FOR THE CAUSE has raised over $10,000 and 3 tons of food for the animals. Just as important, the public has been educated of the plight of these animals. There are collection jars about town, animals needing homes are advertized, fundraising is ongoing, low cost clinics for spaying/neutering, etc.
