Peace with the Police

the problem:

We are trying to solve police brutality in the Southern Los Angeles community with young people who are affected by violence or have been affected by the situation.

why it's important:

The reason why its important to us because not a lot of young people knows their rights and the police take advantage of that.

the plan of action:

Our plans of actions are to run workshops at the local community center and at least four other high schools.

how you can get involved:

Other organizations such as The October 22nd Coalition can help us by coming and supporting what we are trying to do for our community. They have shared their educational materials and knowledge with us. Every one who has been in that type of situation with the police can also be involved with sharing their experiences.
